As of December 1998 maintenance check, observed
that pipe connect both vaults (instrument and anchor 
vaults) is touching the invar wire. 

Hearst Ranch creepmeter...On Southwest "trace"

July 2010  Observed that pipe has caved in. Electronics have
been disconnected
